The dashboard shortcut
You can also tick "Also create a QR code for this link" in the dashboard's quick-create card to jump straight from a new link to its styled code. It's the fastest route when you know from the start that the link is headed for print.
What makes these codes different
Because every code encodes a short link rather than the raw URL, the code inherits the link's powers. Scans are unlimited and each one is counted privately as a click on the underlying link. Better still, the code stays editable after printing - Change the link's destination in your dashboard and every printed copy of the code now leads to the new page. No reprint, ever.
A concrete example: print a code on event posters that points at the ticket page. After the event sells out, edit the destination to a waitlist page. Every poster already on the street updates instantly. Then check your dashboard to see how many scans each week brought in - Those numbers are private to you, so competitors can't see how the campaign performed.
