Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and GoTo.now governing your use of the goto.now website, short links, QR codes, statistics and API (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these terms.
1. The Service
GoTo.now converts long URLs into short goto.now links, generates QR codes, and reports aggregate click statistics. The core service is free. Optional paid plans add volume, bulk tooling and API access.
2. Accounts
You may use the Service without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must be at least 16 years old.
3. Your content and your links
You retain all rights to the destinations you link to. By creating a link you confirm that you have the right to direct traffic to that destination and that it complies with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may disable links that violate it, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do.
Custom back-halves are allocated first-come, first-served. We may reclaim back-halves that infringe trademarks, impersonate others, or are used for abuse.
4. What we promise - And what we don't
- We aim to keep redirects fast and links working indefinitely, and we serve millions of redirects on that basis.
- The free Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, though we work hard at it.
- We are not responsible for the content of destination pages.
5. Acceptable use
The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In short: no phishing, malware, fraud, illegal content, spam or deceptive redirects. We may scan destinations, act on reports filed through Report URLs, and remove abusive links without notice.
6. Statistics and privacy
Click statistics are aggregate and available to anyone with the link, which keeps the platform transparent. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
7. API
API keys are provisioned per account and may not be shared. Keys carry rate limits appropriate to your plan. Automated use must respect the same acceptable-use rules; keys used for abuse are revoked.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, logo and content are owned by GoTo.now or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or create derivative services from them without permission. Blog content may be quoted with attribution and a link.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or harms the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature survive termination (liability, IP, governing law) survive.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoTo.now shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from use of the Service. For the free Service, our aggregate liability is limited to USD 100; for paid plans, to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify GoTo.now against claims arising from links you create in violation of these terms or applicable law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continued use after changes means acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you additional rights.
