Send link activity into the tools your team already uses

Connect analytics, automation, messaging, spreadsheet, commerce, and social systems through encrypted configurations and a durable retry queue.

What you can do

Each capability below is available in the current GoTo.now application.

GA4 and Google Sheets

Validate GA4 Measurement Protocol event shape, or post structured events to a sheet-bound Apps Script web app that implements doPost(e).

Zapier and Make

Post normalized link events to a webhook supplied by a Zap or Make scenario.

Segment

Deliver track calls with an encrypted write key and a stable anonymous link identifier.

Slack and Teams

Send concise link-event notifications to an incoming webhook without placing credentials in browser code.

Social and Meta CAPI

Connect a social-workflow webhook, or send Meta CAPI events only after a custom-domain visitor gives marketing consent.

WooCommerce and Shopify

Send link events to a WooCommerce-aware automation receiver, or use the dedicated Shopify paid-order webhook to connect clicks with commerce outcomes.

Send a measured purchase path into the operating stack

A store creates one smart link per campaign. Human click events enter the delivery queue, analytics receives the campaign event, a spreadsheet automation records the normalized payload, and a commerce webhook later sends the paid-order outcome with an external order ID.

What this changes: Redirect speed is isolated from third-party latency, failed deliveries retry with backoff, and the outcome can be reconciled without double-counting an order.

Is this the right tool?

Use it when

  • Link activity needs to trigger an existing automation
  • Credentials must stay on the server rather than in browser code
  • Transient endpoint failures should retry without delaying visitors

Choose another approach when

  • The endpoint is private, local, or does not support HTTPS
  • You need synchronous third-party confirmation before redirecting

How it works

1

Create the destination endpoint

Get a webhook, measurement ID, write key, or API endpoint from the external service.

2

Connect and prove the path

Add it in Platform & enterprise. GoTo.now sends a provider-specific test before saving, while secrets remain encrypted and are never rendered back into the page.

3

Let the worker deliver

Human smart-link events enter a durable queue with bounded retries instead of slowing the visitor redirect.

Connect an integration

Behavior worth knowing

  • External services require their own account, endpoint, and credentials.
  • Slack and Teams connection tests post a visible message; automation webhooks receive a visible test event.
  • Google's GA4 validation endpoint checks the event format but does not verify the API secret, so confirm the test event in GA4 Realtime after connecting.
  • Only public HTTPS endpoints are accepted; private and local-network addresses are rejected.
  • Failed delivery is retried with backoff and eventually marked failed for inspection.

Integrations & Automation FAQs

Are integration secrets encrypted?
Yes. The complete connection configuration is encrypted at rest, and saved secrets are never shown again in the dashboard.
Do integrations slow down redirects?
No. Eligible events are inserted into a durable outbox and delivered by a background worker.
Can an integration call a private server?
No. Endpoints must use HTTPS and resolve only to public addresses, which reduces server-side request forgery risk.
