Report a malicious link

Found a goto.now link pointing at phishing, malware, a scam or other content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy? Here's how to flag it - It takes about a minute.

Sending a report that gets acted on

Email [email protected] (details on the Report URLs page) with:

• The short link itself (the goto.now URL, exactly as you received it).
• A sentence about what's wrong - "Fake bank login page" or "downloads an installer I didn't ask for" is plenty.
• Optionally, where you found it (an email, a DM, a comment) - Context speeds up review.

You don't need proof, screenshots, or technical analysis. If you're only suspicious, that's still worth a report; unsure beats unreported.

If you already clicked it

Don't beat yourself up - Report it anyway, then protect yourself. If you typed a password anywhere on the destination page, change that password now, starting with your email account. If a file downloaded, don't open it and run an antivirus scan.

What happens on our end

Reports are reviewed promptly; confirmed malicious links are disabled platform-wide, and repeat offenders lose access. Once a link is disabled, everyone who clicks it afterward is protected - Including people who never saw your report.

You won't always hear back on every report, and that's normal - Review still happens. Want to double-check a link before reporting? Paste it into the link checker first; seeing the real destination often confirms your hunch in seconds.
