Account & security

Forgot your password

Locked out? Don't create a second account - That just splits your link history in two. There are two ways back into the one you have.

Pick the door that matches your account

Two ways back in:

  • Signed up with Google (or the email is a Google account)? Just use Sign in with Google on the login page - It reaches the same account.
  • Email + password account? Contact support from the email address on the account and ask for a reset. We verify it's you and get you back in quickly.

Try the Google button first

Here's a secret about "forgotten" passwords: many were never set. If your account email is a Gmail or Google Workspace address, there's a real chance you originally joined with the Google button and never had a password at all. One click on Sign in with Google settles it in five seconds, before you write any email.

Making the support route fast

Sending from the exact email address on the account is the whole verification, so double-check the "from" line before you hit send - A reset request from a different address can't be honored, because anyone could ask. Include a line like "please reset the password on my GoTo.now account" and you're done; no need to prove anything else.

A self-serve reset email flow is on the roadmap; until then support turnaround is fast. And good news for the impatient: your links keep redirecting and collecting stats the entire time you're locked out. Nothing pauses.

Didn't solve it? Contact support - Include the short link in question and we'll take a look.
